Olivia is two months old!

Wow, two months have flown by! In the last several days I have started to take Olivia to my pilates class (Jenna goes to the child playroom). Luckily the instructor is cool with Olivia being there since she is so quiet (she's usually napping in her car seat). The bonus is that now I have an exercise buddy! Okay, she doesn't exercise herself, maybe she's more like a mascot. If she could talk, I know she would say, "Go Mom! Feel the burn!"

I think the most special part about her getting to be two months old is that we are catching more and more smiles. Olivia's smiles melt our hearts! We wanted to catch one on camera today, but by the time we found the camera (and went through two sets of batteries -- apparently some dead batteries were put back into the box of new batteries by a little helper in our house who is... ohh, about 3 feet tall) she was not quite in the mood to smile anymore. Don't worry though because we will definitely keep trying! We will share with you the moments we did catch today...

"No smiles for that silly camera of yours, Mom. Instead, I will stick out my tongue!"

Sara and Josh,

As always you have been on our minds. Thank you for your emails and for the love that you share with us. We feel so blessed to have you both a part of our lives. I feel so grateful that we live in a time when open adoption is the norm. It is so wonderful that Olivia will be able to know through out her life that she is being watched over by two sets of loving parents who are both praying for her success and happiness. She is truly a miracle for all of us!
